Seismic Bracing Manufacturer for Building MEP Systems
Seismic bracing is a support and seismic protection system for building MEP services. By securely connecting pipes, ducts, cable trays, and other MEP installations to the building structure, seismic bracing helps limit system movement under seismic and other horizontal or vertical loads, reducing the risk of displacement, falling, collision, and damage to MEP systems.
EDOYON provides seismic bracing systems for plumbing, HVAC, fire protection piping, cable trays, and other MEP services. Product selection is based on project-specific conditions, including service type, pipe diameter or dimensions, system loads, installation method, support spacing, building structure, seismic design requirements, materials, and surface treatment.

How Seismic Bracing Systems Work
Seismic bracing systems form a stable support structure through anchoring connections, bracing members, and pipe or service fastening components, securely connecting pipes, ducts, cable trays, and other MEP services to the building’s main structure.
During an earthquake or significant horizontal or vertical vibration, the seismic bracing system transfers and distributes the applied forces through its structural components, helping limit the movement of MEP services and improve overall system stability.
01. Seismic Forces Occur
When an earthquake or external vibration occurs, MEP services such as pipes, ducts, and cable trays generate inertial forces in both the horizontal and vertical directions.
02. Bracing Supports and Transfers Loads
The seismic bracing system forms a stable support structure through Slotted C Channel, Saddle Clips, connection fittings, and fastening components, transferring the forces generated by MEP services to the main building structure.
03. Limit MEP Service Movement
The support system uses strategically positioned seismic braces, cross braces, and pipe or service fastening components to help limit excessive displacement and movement of pipes and other MEP services during seismic events.
04. Maintain System Stability
After external vibrations subside, the seismic bracing system continues to provide stable support for pipes and other MEP services, helping reduce excessive movement and stress at connection points and improving the overall reliability of the MEP system.
